Interest Groups and Social Committees Offer Opportunities to Meet People, Get Involved and Have Fun
AAUW members enjoy a variety of interest groups – some for service, some for intellectual stimulation, and some are just for fun. AAUW members are welcome to attend any or all meetings.
Non-members are welcome to attend 1-3 meetings of a group to see if you’re interested in becoming AAUW members. Come join us!
If you are interested in joining an interest group, please fill out our Interest Groups Application to receive more information.
BOOK GROUPS
Choose one of our three popular book groups to discuss fiction and non-fiction.
- Monthly meetings to discuss pre-selected books
- Engaging discussions with fellow book enthusiasts
- Opportunities to explore new genres and authors
- A supportive community that celebrates the joy of reading
BRIDGE GROUPS are coordinated by Jeanne Jorgensen. The Bridge Groups are looking for new members.
LUNCH BUNCH
This is a really fun thing to do. The group has lunch once a month, 2nd Thursday, at a variety of local restaurants. Some are fabulous, all are interesting and the company is always the very best. This group is seeking a new leader! Contact Kit Hein if you want to lead this group.
DINING OUT
This is a lot like Lunch Bunch except it’s in the evening and spouses/partners are included. The group enjoys fine dining and socializing at local restaurants one evening a month.
